Senior Program Manager, SEE Foundation (Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology)
Dr. Lu leads the Climate Change and Business Sustainability Program at SEE Foundation. Her team works on green supply chain, waste management and polluting prevention programs. The “Green Supply Chain Action in Real Estate Industry in China” is a sector-wide, market-driven, voluntary pollution and carbon emission reduction action that engages companies along the entire supply chain through green procurement.
Zhiyao spent years on ecological research, especially the relationships between environment and the ethnic minority groups in China. She is a Chinese Representative of Homeward Bound Project, a global female scientists leadership training and Antarctic expedition project. She has great passion and enthusiasm for environmental protection and sustainable development.
Zhiyao got PhD in Ethnoecology form a joint-doctoral program with Minzu University of China and Yale University. She was a visiting scholar at Columbia University and New York Botanical Garden. She graduated from Ocean University of China with B.A. degree in Marine Ecology.
