Tom Westwood
Senior Associate, Waugh Thistleton Architects

Tom is a Senior Associate at Waugh Thistleton Architects and has been with the practice since 2010. In that time Tom has helped the practice grow in size and ambition, being shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2018, and now working on masterplans and towers alongside housing and commercial projects. A mission to minimise embodied carbon in construction remains central to the practice’s work, particularly through the use of timber structures, and Tom has helped advance this agenda through key projects such as Vitsoe’s new headquarters in Leamington Spa, and Vastint’s redevelopment of Sugar House Island in East London. Tom spreads the practice’s vision through speaking nationally and internationally.
