Principal, CCY Architects
Robin’s thirty-one years as a project manager for CCY’s public and commercial projects are distinguished by a host of awards from the design and construction industries and represent a cumulative construction value of over 700 million dollars.
He has extensive experience with public consensus and approval processes and has successfully dealt with large and diverse client organizations, complex teams of architects, engineers and other consultants, government agencies, and some of the largest construction firms operating in Colorado.
Robin’s early experience in New York City, Seattle, and Los Angeles included theater and acoustical consulting, mechanical contracting and construction field work, as well as architectural practice. His continued interest in a wide array of building types is represented in projects that include mixed-use development and redevelopment, government buildings, theaters and art centers, high-end residences, and a chapel.
For the Aspen Art Museum, on which CCY Architects acted as Executive Architect, Robin’s participation began with entitlement assistance and continued through design development (in cooperation with Shigeru Ban Architects’ New York office), then on to primary responsibility for code compliance, document production, contractor and cost coordination and buy-out, administration of contract for construction, and project closeout.
