Kate Simonen AIA, SE is founding director of the Carbon Leadership Forum. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington, a writer, and a researcher with significant professional experience in high performance buildings, architecture and structural engineering. She authored the authoritative Life Cycle Assessment and the LCA Practice Guide and is co-chair of the Embodied Carbon Network – a global, open-access communications and action network.
